Reunification Therapy That Doesn't Blow Up the Case
A Stabilization-First Approach to Reunification Therapy
3 Hours via ZOOM | Includes Ethics | 7.8.26
Court-involved reunification work can become emotionally intense and highly pressured when families move faster than readiness allows. This training introduces a trauma-informed, stabilization-first framework for working with court-involved families while reducing the risk of escalation, premature exposure and treatment disruption. Participants will learn practical strategies for promoting regulation, assessing readiness and creating safer pathways toward family reconnection.
Why Resist–Refuse Cases Blow Up
Understanding Systems Saturation & the Child's Position in the Family System
3 Hours via ZOOM | Includes Ethics | 7.15.26
This training examines why many resist–refuse cases become increasingly polarized and difficult to stabilize over time. Using a family systems perspective, participants will learn how systems saturation, triangulation, pressure and loyalty conflicts influence the child's position within the family system and contribute to case escalation. Practical strategies are provided for reducing system pressure, improving professional decision-making and supporting safer, more effective interventions.
Nice Therapist, Strong Boundaries™
Protecting the Therapeutic Relationship Without Damaging Rapport
3 Hours via ZOOM | Includes Ethics | 7.22.26
Managing Boundaries, Dual Relationships and Ethical Gray Areas in Clinical Practice
This ethics training helps clinicians strengthen professional boundaries while preserving warmth, rapport and therapeutic trust. Many boundary concerns begin subtly through over-availability, unclear expectations, blurred communication, excessive responsibility, dual-role pressure or the desire to be helpful. This course gives clinicians a practical structure for recognizing boundary drift before it becomes an ethical problem. Participants will review common boundary crossings, dual relationship concerns, warning signs, self-disclosure issues, digital communication challenges and the difference between compassionate care and over-functioning. A self-assessment will also be included. The training emphasizes ethical clarity, client welfare, clinician protection & sustainable clinical practice.
Documentation That Holds Up in Court
3 Hours via ZOOM | Includes Ethics | 7.29.26
This training provides a practical framework for creating neutral, defensible and court-ready clinical records in high-conflict and court-involved cases. Participants learn behavior-based documentation strategies, neutrality principles and practical approaches for strengthening professional credibility when records are reviewed by attorneys, evaluators, judges, licensing boards and other professionals. The course emphasizes clarity, objectivity and documentation practices that support both clinical effectiveness and legal defensibility.
